| 内容記述 | 人口は行政の基本データであり、各自治体の人口の変動は政治経済の状況等に起因する人口移動や人口増加によって決定される。本研究では、国勢調査データ等の解析により、日本の市町村単位の人口分布の特徴的な時間変化を明らかにした。特に、都市の人口分布に普遍的に見られると言われるZipfの法則が、日本の場合市町村合併の影響で破れる事を示し、人口移動モデルによるシミュレーションでも定性的な再現ができることを示した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Human population is one of the fundamental data in public administration. The change in the human population in a given region depends on the natural increase of population and the population migration due to the political and economic situation. In this work, we have shown the characteristic change in the municipal population distribution using the census data of Japan. Especially, we have shown that the great merger of municipalities might cause the violation of Zipf's law which is globally observed in the city size distribution. In addition, we constructed the model of population migration to have confirmed that the great merger of municipalities violates Zipf's law. | |||||||||
