| 内容記述 | Bis(2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(Ⅱ) complexes of the<special> [<special>Ru(bpy)2</special>(L-L)]n+</special> type, where L-L is S-S or O-O bidentate ligand, were synthesized and their electrochemical and photochemical properties were examined. All the complexes undergo one-electron oxidation, and two one-electron reductions. They are all reversible or quasi-reversible. The redox potentials of Ru(Ⅱ)/Ru(Ⅲ), <special>EOX1/2</special>, increase as the energies of the metal to ligand charge transfer(MLCT) transition increase. The <special>EOX1/2</special> values indicate that the σ-donor ability of L-L ligands decreases in the order of dtc>acac><special>S2PPh2</special>~dbm>bzac><special>S2P(OEt)2</special>>bztfac>hfac><special>bpy+)</special>. The complexes containing O-O ligands exhibit emissinons in visible region, the origin of which are probably from a MLCT excited state. | |||||||||||||||||
