| 内容記述 | Mie University has accepted a total of nine Korean students (as of December 2006) under the Japan-Korea Joint Exchange Program for Science and Engineering Students since its commencement in the year 2000. In July 2006, a conference of the Japan-Korea Joint Exchange Program for Science and Engineering Students was held at Kanazawa University. At this conference, the Higher Education Bureau (the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) announced that it plans to continue to promote the program after 2010. This paper reports the current status of the Japan-Korea Joint Exchange Program for Science and Engineering Students at Mie University. Further, this paper discusses future challenges and required clarifications concerning acceptance of Korean students into the university and appropriate teaching methods for these students. | |||||||||
