| 内容記述 | Many Japanese universities are actively introducing overseas field study programs in response to the growing needs for the global human resource development in Japan. This paper reports the result of field study program conducted in Vietnam by the Center for International Education and Research, Mie University. The paper analyzed how the students' perception has been changed after participating in the program in terms of the personal qualities required to be a global human resources. The paper then examined what factors of the program significantly have affected those perception changes. The findings suggest that interactive activities with their counterparts of the same generations such as social exchanges and discussions with Vietnamese students and young Japanese workers in Vietnam are highly effective to inspire the Japanese students to become global minded, especially in a country of emerging economy such as Vietnam which has close economic and social relations with Japan. |
