| 内容記述 | In this paper we examine the problems of direction-giving expressions through contrastive analysis of the data from 16 elementary-level Japanese language learners, 7 superior-level Japanese language learners, and 7 Japanese native speakers. From the results, we consider the possibility of returning to elementary-level Japanese language teaching. To be concrete, we hereby propose the following three points. (1) A problem of designing course curriculum: necessity of setting up the chance for overall teaching and lcarning of direction-giving expressions. (2) A problem of teaching grammatical points: necessity of teaching the limitation on repeated use of verb in ‘te-form' and some substitute expressions thereof. (3) A problem of teaching discourse development strategies: necessity of teaching a view point in developing the discourse of direction-giving and discourse closing function of ‘-desu,' a conclusive expression. | |||||||||
