| 内容記述 | microRNA-145 (miR-145)が、小腸のP-糖タンパク質(P-gp)の発現・機能を制御することを明らかにした。この成果は、miRNAによる小腸P-gpの転写後発現調節を示す世界初の報告である。さらに、miRNAは小腸上皮細胞に発現する薬物動態制御タンパク質の発現・機能を制御することから、薬物体内動態及び薬物吸収動態の個体内・個体間変動の要因となる可能性が示唆された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | We found that microRNA-145 (miR-145) regulates the expression and function of P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in the small intestine. This result provide new insight into the post-transcriptional regulation of intestinal P-gp. Moreover, miRNAs regulate the expression and function of proteins regulating pharmacokinetics in intestinal epithelial cells. Therefore, miRNAs could be significant factors affecting inter- and intra-individual variations in the pharmacokinetics and intestinal absorption of drugs. | |||||||||
