内容記述 Nine strains of cellulolytic-thermophilic anaerobes were isolated from hot springs and composts and
analyzed for their productivity of β-glucosidase (β-D-Glucoside glucohydrolase EC 3. 2. 1. 21). Among them, strain F-9 showed the highest β-glucosidase activity, and this strain was identified as a member of Clostridium thermosaccarolyticum on taxonomical characteristics. The intracellular β-glucosidase of the bacterium was purified 40-fold with a recovery of 6%.
The purified enzyme preparation was chromatographically homogeneous. The molecular weight of
